Christopher Steven Lantz

was born on July 29, 1985 in Oakland, MD. After graduation from Southern Garrett High School, he embarked on a college career at West Virginia University majoring in both computer and electrical engineering. His interests expanded to the study of law so in the Fall of 2008, he travelled to Nashville, TN where he entered Vanderbilt Law School. As in Oakland, MD and Morgantown, WV, he led in academic, community and leisure activities at Vanderbilt. During his third year of Law School, he was elected as President of the Vanderbilt Bar Association.

In 2010, during the Christmas break before his last semester of law school he was involved in a snowmobiling accident which claimed his life.
